Email Permissions
The Electricians Assistant can send approved PDF documents from the user’s own mailbox. This is used so contractors can send certificates and related PDF documents without manually attaching files outside the software.
Google/Gmail
EA currently requests the Gmail gmail.send permission. This allows EA to send email from the connected Gmail or Google Workspace mailbox. It does not grant EA broad inbox-reading or mailbox-editing access.
Microsoft
EA can use Microsoft Graph with delegated Mail.Send permission. This allows EA to send email as the signed-in Microsoft mailbox.
User approval
EA should only send documents after the user has created or reviewed the document and chosen to send it.
No advertising
Email access is not used for advertising, profiling, selling data or unrelated analytics.
Disconnect
Users can disconnect email access from EA and may also revoke EA from their Google or Microsoft account security pages.
